HVAC Maintenance for Novi homes

Novi grew quickly from the late 1980s through the 2000s, so many of its subdivision homes now have furnaces and air conditioners reaching the end of their service life together. Many Novi homes have furnaces and air conditioners that were installed together and are now aging together. Yearly checks give you a clear picture of both, so replacements can be planned instead of rushed in January.

What's included

Annual furnace and air conditioner tune-ups with safety checks, cleaning and a written report on the system's condition. Depending on your home and equipment, the work can include:

Combustion and safety
Gas pressure and temperature rise
Blower and airflow
Condensate
Carbon monoxide
Coils
Electrical
Refrigerant
Drainage

Full details, how the work runs and common questions are on our main HVAC maintenance page.

Permits and licensing

In Michigan, installing or replacing a furnace, air conditioner or heat pump generally requires a mechanical permit and inspection, and the work must be done by a licensed mechanical contractor. In Novi, permits are handled by the City of Novi's building division. New electrical circuits are done by a licensed electrician under an electrical permit. We pull the permits that apply to your project.
