HVAC Maintenance for Canton homes

Canton Township grew rapidly from the 1980s through the 2000s, from established subdivisions to newer neighborhoods like Cherry Hill Village, with older farmhouses at its edges. With so many Canton homes built in the same era, equipment ages in waves across whole neighborhoods. A fall furnace check and a spring cooling check catch most problems before the busiest weeks of the year.

What's included

Annual furnace and air conditioner tune-ups with safety checks, cleaning and a written report on the system's condition. Depending on your home and equipment, the work can include:

Combustion and safety
Gas pressure and temperature rise
Blower and airflow
Condensate
Carbon monoxide
Coils
Electrical
Refrigerant
Drainage

Full details, how the work runs and common questions are on our main HVAC maintenance page.

Permits and licensing

In Michigan, installing or replacing a furnace, air conditioner or heat pump generally requires a mechanical permit and inspection, and the work must be done by a licensed mechanical contractor. In Canton, permits are handled by Canton Township's building and inspection services. New electrical circuits are done by a licensed electrician under an electrical permit. We pull the permits that apply to your project.
