Duct Cleaning in Novi

Duct Cleaning for Novi homes

Novi grew quickly from the late 1980s through the 2000s, so many of its subdivision homes now have furnaces and air conditioners reaching the end of their service life together. New construction and recent renovations are the most common reasons we clean ducts in Novi. Drywall dust and builders' debris turn up in brand-new systems, and cleaning them before you move in is worthwhile.

What's included

Whole-system duct cleaning with negative air pressure, including returns, supplies, the blower and the furnace cabinet. Depending on your home and equipment, the work can include:

• Negative air pressure
• Agitation
• Every run
• Registers and grilles
• Blower and cabinet
• A fresh filter
• After renovations.
• New construction.
• Visible buildup.
• Pests or odours.
• Moving in.

Full details, how the work runs and common questions are on our main duct cleaning page.

Local conditions in Novi

Tighter Novi homes tend to struggle with stale air and winter window condensation, while two-story layouts struggle with hot upper floors. Fresh air ventilation, balanced returns and humidity control are the usual fixes.

Questions to ask before you hire

Whoever you hire for duct cleaning in Novi, get clear answers to these before signing:

• Do you use negative air pressure and agitation tools?
• Will you clean the returns, blower and furnace cabinet too?
• Will you show me before and after photos?
• Does my home actually need cleaning?

Permits and licensing

In Michigan, installing or replacing a furnace, air conditioner or heat pump generally requires a mechanical permit and inspection, and the work must be done by a licensed mechanical contractor. In Novi, permits are handled by the City of Novi's building division. New electrical circuits are done by a licensed electrician under an electrical permit. We pull the permits that apply to your project.
