Commercial HVAC for Novi businesses

Novi grew quickly from the late 1980s through the 2000s, so many of its subdivision homes now have furnaces and air conditioners reaching the end of their service life together. Novi's commercial areas, from the retail around Twelve Oaks to the office and light industrial parks along the expressway corridors, include a lot of rooftop units added over the years. Planning replacements before summer avoids emergency changeouts during a heat wave.

What's included

Rooftop units, split systems and maintenance programs for offices, shops, restaurants and light commercial buildings. Depending on your home and equipment, the work can include:

Rooftop units
Split systems and furnaces
Make-up air and exhaust
Ductless systems
Planned maintenance
Controls
Site review.
Written scope.
Scheduling around you.
Records.

Full details, how the work runs and common questions are on our main commercial HVAC page.

Local conditions in Novi

With furnaces, air conditioners and water heaters often the same age, Novi homeowners benefit from yearly checks that track all three, so replacements can be planned instead of rushed.

Questions to ask before you hire

Whoever you hire for commercial HVAC in Novi, get clear answers to these before signing:

Will you provide a written equipment list and condition report?
How will you minimize downtime for my business?
What safety measures and insurance coverage do you have?
What does your maintenance contract include?

Permits and licensing

In Michigan, installing or replacing a furnace, air conditioner or heat pump generally requires a mechanical permit and inspection, and the work must be done by a licensed mechanical contractor. In Novi, permits are handled by the City of Novi's building division. New electrical circuits are done by a licensed electrician under an electrical permit. We pull the permits that apply to your project.
